Withdrawal
Updates may be few and far between. I got hired today to work as a regional campaign person on Hillary's 2006 Senate re-election bid.
My hours will likely be fairly outrageous until early November, after which time I will again be jobless unless I am offered another position.
The headquarters is in Cheektowaga, and I'll be staying at Turck's and/or Joe's place unless I can find a month-to-month living arrangement on my own in the Buffalo area.
It will likely be a fairly interesting development in my life.

George Carlin on Religion
George Carlin poses a lot of great questions in this clip, many of which I've always wondered about since I started thinking about such things. Reconciling prayer with the idea of "God's Will..." Anyway, it's hilarious.
Regular Schedule
I completed scanning and uploading the non-digital pictures I wanted to include on the blog. Just in time for Turck to show me an album full of different pictures that I would have wanted to include, from roughly 1999-2003 or so. I got to see those last night.
He has shots of Aaron, himself, Joe, and I prior to a Midnight Bowling outing for which we are all dressed in amusing fashion. I appear to be flexing in every one of those pictures, for whatever reason. Disconcertingly, I appear to have been in better shape then.
Nate also has alternate pictures from Allegany, and some from Randy and Laura's wedding, which is six days short of three years ago now.
So perhaps there will have to be another edition of the chronology of film camera pictures coming at a later date.
It is possible that I may have an interview next week for a semi-real job that would last at least through the November elections, but it's not a certainty. And of course I would have to impress the interviewer, which may not be something I'm capable of.
The due date for my annual car insurance premium looms, and I'm not exactly close to having enough to pay for that. It's not looking good. Aside from me not being any closer to moving out for good, which is the real driving force behind obtaining a real job.

Cabin Fever - November/December 2002
You might call this the first post in the picture chronology of the post-Destini era. Here, it's me with Loretta and Abe at Anna & Loretta's place. November 2002.
Everclear tshirt and a Rolling Rock.
This should make Thom happy. He wanted me in cowboy gear. Unfortunately, I don't have any shots of me herding cattle.

Recent Posts
I have some more current pictures to upload, but I didn't want to interrupt the continuity too much. I have just a few more I'd like to post, mostly from the end of 2002 and beginning of 2003. There's a gap in the photographic record after that, with rare exceptions, until 2004/2005 when I came back to school and then eventually got my own camera.
I went to Ithaca with Turck and Joe this weekend. I had a lot of fun, and there are a few pretty nice pictures to upload as well.

Robert Plant in Cleveland, September 2, 2002
We were roughly 20 rows back for this concert. I had purchased tickets on Ticketmaster, but Des and I were approached by someone we took to be a scalper outside the venue. He claimed her appearance induced him to part with the tickets at face value. In any event, we had a fairly cheap upgrade.
I had no zoom on my camera. Nevertheless, I'm fairly confident this was taken during Four Sticks.
Promoting the Dreamland album, Robert also sampled some of the rest of his back catalogue. We were treated to renditions of In the Mood, Tall Cool One, and Calling to You.
