Above is the view to the East from our roof deck. You can quite clearly see the Sears Tower. There's quite a bit of construction going on around us, mainly in the form of new condominiums. Originally, I had planned to get my own place shortly after I got a job, but for a variety of reasons (all positive), that didn't happen, and I stayed. Anywhere that I might have moved would have been necessarily quite a ways away, since Laura's neighborhood is almost entirely made up of condos (very few apartments).
We had beautiful weather a few weeks ago and took these pictures shortly before taking a walk and eventually going to Lake Michigan
