Memorable Lines in Education
The professor in my Geography course was drawing a rough map of Europe on the blackboard. He wanted to make sure it was not misinterpreted though... "That's not a penis, that's Denmark," he explained.

Brilliant. That reminds me of my college paleontology professor. One day while talking about the vascular system of echinoderms he stated in a very straight-faced and dry manner, "It's kinda like blowing up a balloon. . .kinda like a stiffy." Then without pause, he continued with the lecture.
