Nate's playing John's guitar at Kristen's house, in January 2003.
Yes, that's a Turckface.
...and one of my own?
Soft-focus with Turck in the background.
Personal chronicles, discussion of world events, American politics and foreign policy... along with a little bit of Led Zeppelin.

Dressed Up and Drinking
Cabin Fever - November/December 2002
You might call this the first post in the picture chronology of the post-Destini era. Here, it's me with Loretta and Abe at Anna & Loretta's place. November 2002.
Everclear tshirt and a Rolling Rock.
This should make Thom happy. He wanted me in cowboy gear. Unfortunately, I don't have any shots of me herding cattle.

I have some more current pictures to upload, but I didn't want to interrupt the continuity too much. I have just a few more I'd like to post, mostly from the end of 2002 and beginning of 2003. There's a gap in the photographic record after that, with rare exceptions, until 2004/2005 when I came back to school and then eventually got my own camera.
I went to Ithaca with Turck and Joe this weekend. I had a lot of fun, and there are a few pretty nice pictures to upload as well.

Robert Plant in Cleveland, September 2, 2002
We were roughly 20 rows back for this concert. I had purchased tickets on Ticketmaster, but Des and I were approached by someone we took to be a scalper outside the venue. He claimed her appearance induced him to part with the tickets at face value. In any event, we had a fairly cheap upgrade.
I had no zoom on my camera. Nevertheless, I'm fairly confident this was taken during Four Sticks.
Promoting the Dreamland album, Robert also sampled some of the rest of his back catalogue. We were treated to renditions of In the Mood, Tall Cool One, and Calling to You.

November 2001
2001.02.04 Everclear at The Warehouse in Toronto
2001.07.10 Healing Sixes at Revolution in Cleveland Ohio
The band featured Jason Bonham at the time. Turck and I drove out to see them. They put on a good show for all of about 20 people. The date did not appear on the band's website, but was on Pollstar. The band was definitely solid. Bonham was not exactly at his best. The place was hot and he was complaining a lot about the heat and seemed to just want to turn around and go home. He was drinking a beer with one hand and drumming with the other at various times.
I saw him on VH1's Supergroup and it seems that he's been sober for a while now, which I think is probably for the best in his situation. His dad used to drink a lot on the road because he disliked being away from his family. Jason said he used to drink for that reason as well.
Anyway, the Sixes played some Zep covers. When the Levee Breaks was great, and No Quarter and Sick Again were also done well. The keyboard portion of No Quarter was done on guitar with an effects pedal.
Their original music was good too, and I bought an advance copy of Enormosound that I still listen to regularly.

The flash obliterated my nose on this picture, but this is me with the lead singer, Doug Henthorn (who went on to sing on Joe Bonamassa's cover of Zeppelin's Tea For One on Joe's 2006 You & Me album).

Robert Plant in Toronto, June 3, 2001
Two days after my parents got married (again), I went to Toronto for my third Robert Plant show in 10 days. Turck dropped by before we left to give something to me, but I can't remember what it was.
Here's Robert belting it out. We were five rows back for this show. Destini's mom bought tickets.
And here's the man enjoying a glass of port.
