This Holocaust Memorial was called the "Memorial to Murdered Jews of Europe." On the surface, it consists of dozens of monoliths. Underground, there is a museum that tells the stories of numerous individuals and families. This serves to bring real meaning to the tragedy. Everyone gets somewhat numb to hearing "six million died, six million died." This museum houses journal writings and pictures that make what happened much more real.
