Jethro Tull Does Kashmir

Violinist Lucia Micarelli arranged this version of the quintessential Led Zeppelin track for Jethro Tull. As Ian Anderson alludes in the introduction, Tull opened for Zep back in 1969. Jimmy Page was less than complimentary of Tull's performances. He reportedly said that if Jethro Tull ever released a live album, an apt title would be Bore 'em at the Forum.

I enjoy a fair amount of Tull songs. I was recently exposed to a really good one that I had not heard previously. I could be wrong, but I believe it's called "For Michael Collins, Jeffrey and Me."

In any event, this version kicks considerable ass. Check it out.
